At Erica Ceramic, an independent team dedicatedly works and performs multiple quality checks to ensure every tile matches the set parameter of quality standard. Our team makes sure every batch is completely inspected and documented to guarantee total compliance with the highest level of quality products. Every tile is taken care of using modern equipment and constant monitoring, delivering only the best to our clients.

1. Shade and Surface

The Colour and surface of the samples are inspected prior to the production process with the control/master tile. Our QC oicers check and approve the sample before the actual production so as to ensure there is minimal to no variation between the subsequent batches of tiles.

2. Warpage

The quality control experts at Erica keep an eagle eye on the warpage of the tiles. They use top-quality pieces of equipment and also perform manual checks by keeping the tiles face-to-face during production.

3. Deviation in Length & Width

Keeping a close eye on the dimension of the tiles is also crucial during production. Manual quality checks are done during the production process to find any deviation in length and width.

4. Deviation in Thickness

The quality control team keeps tabs on every stage of the production of tiles. They ensure there is minimum to no variation in the tiles’ thickness during manufacturing and use equipment to perform the inspections.

5. Gloss

During the tiles production, the QC ensures to keep a close eye on the gloss value of the tiles. This is usually done with the help of equipment like Glossmeter or manually.

6. Stain Resistance

Team Erica takes a keen interest in the production process and checks the stain resistance of the tiles. In the manufacturing process, random tiles are marked with permanent ink to test their stain resistance.

7. MOR (Breaking strength)

QC follows every stage of tile production closely and also checks the modules of the rapture of the tiles. Random tiles are tested with the MOR machine during production to determine their breaking strength.

8. Shade control

Erica Ceramic monitors the shade variation of the tiles. These checks are manually done on random tiles during the production process to find any variation in the tiles’ shade.

9. Printing and surface inspection

Additionally, we carefully observe the production process for any defects in printing, polishing, or surface finishing. Random tiles are manually checked to determine any surface issues during production.

10. Packaging Inspection

The team also keeps a close eye on the packaging and palletizing to ensure no damage is done to the tiles. Furthermore, we observe the pallets' labels, shrink wrap, and banding. The pallets are also checked to find any dampening issues.

11. Cargo loading

Pots-packing and palletizing, every shipment is closely monitored for container fumigation and loading activities to ensure proper and clean stuffing.
